Barbara and Gerard Courtin, part of our extended White Squall family, visited a long-time friend from Sudbury who had recently returned to live in Zimbabwe, the country of their birthplace. Under an African Sky is partly a travelogue and partly an attempt to convey the complexities and beauty, both in terms of landscape and fauna, of a fascinating part of the Dark Continent.
Kick Sleds, Skis & Cole Lake
Join us for random short outings on Cole Lake when conditions are right. We’ll post as “Squall on the Fly” on Twitter (@wspaddling) or find us on Facebook. We’ll provide kicksleds for and you need to bring your own skis. It’s all free and dogs can come for a good run as long as they aren’t crazy like Charly. Donations to the Squall Outer Isle Project are always welcome.
