"We just spent two days kayaking with White Squall and after experiencing few outfitters in the past, I have to admit you're the best. We, took couple  of courses, Getting Started and Safety and Rescue 1, on Saturday and Day trip on Sunday.  The level of enthusiasm and energy the instructors, especially Aleesha, displayed while showing us all the right moves was truly amazing. She never got tired of helping us and showing new ways of getting into the kayak.  Great job Aleesha. Julia and Cathy not only made the Day Trip unforgettable but also prepared a gourmet lunch.  They were fun to kayak with and we liked every moment of the trip. We found the level of professionalism and dedication that all the staff showed extremely inspiring, considering some of them these are summer staff only. Hello White Squall - It’s very nice to receive your letter and the 2008 program brochure. I’m so glad to learn White Squall has named the Top Five paddling outfitters in the world. Congratulations to every member at White Squall for their hard work and contributions! And I can still recall those names after so many years... Greg Mason... Rob Mansfield... they are just two of the many remarkable members at White Squall.
 
Thank you for keeping me in the loop for so many years. Although I haven’t been coming back to White Squall for quite many years but I want to tell you that your program brochure is the only mail I read at least a few times and always kept in my “In-Tray” until the season ends. This is to tell you how much I enjoy reading it and hope that one day I can come paddling with you folks once again.
 
Most of my leisure time is now split between my business (now in the 3rd year!), my family and scuba diving. It is a dream but who knows maybe one day paddling and scuba diving will mix?!

Kayak & Canoe Festival 2008

Hi Tim:
I would like to thank you for your  hospitality and co-operation on the White Squall Festival. It was much apprciated that we were able to change the Sunday on the water sessions to on land sessions. I have, with Scouting, ran and attended camps and when the weather turns bad it makes it hard to run planned programs.

Your wife and staff made the presenters and festival patrons feel that they were taken care of like family. The concert was a great success. I also noticed that the children had a great time and really didn't want to go home at the end. Friday night films had a good variety of subjects.
 
Your staff are to be commended on how helpful and hard they worked even the washrooms were kept clean and well supplied.

If given the opportunity, I would like to attend next year with better weather I hope.

2007 - Marg and Mike Barry Write: Dear Tim, Peter and Staff,

My husband and I purchased two "Current Design" Squamish fiberglass kayaks from White Squall in the fall of 2007. We want you to know that we have had the opportunity to use the kayaks in different conditions and find them a pleasure to paddle.

We have just completed a five day interior trip to the Florida Everglades including ocean and interior water/weather conditions. We had no trouble carrying enough equipment between the two kayaks for the five days including five gallons of water each! That first day bobbing in the Gulf of Mexico was a thrill in itself; it made our long drive to Florida worth every minute. Squamishes performed better than we anticipated, and, simply, we had a lot of fun!

A most sincere thanks to both you and your staff, for the practical useful advice, your encouragement and help in setting up the carrying system and for the time that you spent with us to insure a safe and pleasant experience.

Over the past eighteen years that we have had the pleasure of dealing with White Squall and its knowledgeable staff we have noted your deep concern for the environment and the many practical ways in which you practice environmental ethics.

Weekend Getaways

" Just thought you might wish some feedback on the Bayside Inn & The Squall trip. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a good way to do a couple of really nice day paddles but return to "home like" accomodations in the evening. The food was great, both at the inn and on trip. The guides were good and knew the area well. As luck would have it, all of the group had been in kayaks before and, as a result, we were able to explore more and play in conditions that another group may not have been comfortable. Thanks to the guides for putting some adventure into things. I hope that you do consider running the trip again next September as I would consider doing it again." Cheers, David R
