2 For 1 Hoot'n & Blatting |
May Hoot and Blat
The lake is open, beavers are going crazy and boats are arriving daily. Our first school group arrives in a week and away we go for another grand paddling season
SPRING CLEANING
We’ve got boats here that need to go NOW. Jack and I sat down and had a good chat with our orphans, and came up with a shortlist. it’s time for them to get wet on someone else’s nickel. Patti called it a SPRING CLEANING, so Spring Cleaning it is! Have a look at the attached doc – it starts now and ends May 29
SQUALL MAYhem - All Month Long!
Yup – we’ve decided to have some fun for the month of May, just so we don’t miss our open house too much. we’re hosting complete MAYhem out here at Cole Lake and includes:
Tour the Lake - Free guided paddles on our Lake 2:00 pm both Sat & Sun each weekend. We’ll fix you up in a canoe or kayak that fits for free! Families are welcome but please leave the dog at home – first come first served.
Stand Up For Yourself – Again, both weekends, both days – at 1pm, we’ll show you how to paddle a stand-up board. You will look really cool in front of your friends.
Canoe Bursting with Blowout Stuff – It will make Tim’s Bargoon Box look pathetic.
Tents, Tarps, Bags & Bivvies - We’ll show you how a squall tarp goes up – knots and all
Chicken Supervised Yard Sale Patti will put out gear & clothing from Royal Robbins, Northface, Level 6, Kokatat and tons more – with squalltacular savings. Five chickens will be on hand to answer any questions. Raffle Rouser Show up and put yer name in for a free Weekend Geraway and some other cool stuff.
So….we hope you can come out and have some fun with us. As always, you can try out any boat we have for free – anyday, anytime. The new highway is a breeze – just look for exit 247 – it’s easy to drive by, so be careful!
Some heartening news….. Canada’s wet coast light-keepers will keep their jobs! Fisheries and Oceans, in their infinite wisdom, have recognized that they are critical to safety, sovereignty and science for our coastal waters. What I want to know is, how much did it cost to hire a writer to come up with that alliteration – it’s a fine one so I bet it was a pretty pulchritudinous penny……
ON THAT NOTE – LIKE THEY SAY IN MOSCOW – GOTTA BE RUSSIAN……..tim
