staff_timOK - Tim's Tips (I know you've been waiting for this...)

Tip #1
When playing in whitewater in springtime, always remember to do up your drysuit zipper. And if you forget, yell help really loudly.

Tip #2
Always lean downstream - unless you're in front of a big breaking wave on Georgian Bay - in which case you lean upstream. And if you're not sure - just yell help.

Tip #3
Always, always make sure you look like you know what you're doing when you go paddling. Have a jaunty air as you carry your overweight carcass down to the put-in, and as you paddle away from shore - look around as if this is what you do all the time. An occasional flip of your paddle into the air will complete the effect.
