Franklin Challenge 2025 – Sunday June 22
The 7th annual Franklin Island Challenge is done and dusted with flying colours. A hundred paddlers from all over the province ventured from Snug Harbour June 22, rounding the coast of Franklin Island.
Over $20,000 was raised for the Outer Island Fund of the Georgian Bay Biosphere.
The fund supports anyone willing to get out there and clean campsites and install wilderness thunderboxes. Challenge organizer White Squall, would like to thank all the sponsors and over 30 volunteers.
