Course Description

The Advanced Flatwater Stand Up Paddleboard Instructor course is designed to provide a national certification in the instruction and administration of the Paddle Canada Stand Up Paddleboard Program. We’ll show you the various techniques that you need to teach and provide simple and effective approaches to help you become a better instructor. Full of opportunities to see other people teach, you’ll be exposed to a variety of teaching techniques in a safe and fun environment.

Course Notes

Meeting at White Squall Paddling Centre. Paddling locations may vary and you will be informed by course instructors.

Accommodations:  Paddle Canada course participants are welcome to camp on site at White Squall for the times you are based here.   Please let us know if you’re intending to stay here.

Prerequisites

At least 18 years of age

Paddle Canada Advanced Flatwater SUP Skills Certification, or equivalent

Basic First Aid/CPR
