Our Youth Adventure (ages 13-16) trips have taken hundreds of kids to the crystal blue waters and pine-clad islands of Georgian Bay for over 25 years. This program is staffed by our top guides, chosen for their ability and training to lead younger groups safely. We start with a half-day on-water session here at our centre where we’ll teach you the things you need to know, so no sweat if this is your first paddling trip. Then we’re off to launch sites like Snug Harbour or Dillon Cove to head out for 3 nights to the islands of Georgian Bay. It’s a great opportunity to be with a peer group in kayaks, setting up camp and learning to navigate among islands and along the coast. We focus on beginning leadership skills, and encourage everyone to support each other in this exciting wilderness adventure. We’ve been offering it for over 20 years at a reduced rate, to get as many young people out to see this world biosphere – you won’t forget it!

Meals
Included are drinks & gourmet cheese tray on Friday evening, breakfast and shore lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. For an additional fee you may include Sunday lunch and tour at Trestle Brewing Company as well as bike rental and self-guided tour with Parry Sound Bikes.
Prerequisites
- Participants must be comfortable in the water and be able to swim 50 metres wearing a lifejacket.
